Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, our dedicated instructors will help you reach your goals. Join group lessons, ensemble rehearsals, and performance opportunities to enhance your musical experience.
Every 7-8 weeks there will be an opportunity to invite friends and family to hear what you've been working on. These are called Open Rehearsal. This is a no pressure way to show off your improving skills.
Two ensembles to choose from
- Beginner Ensemble: Building strong foundations for newcomers
- Returner Ensemble: Advancing technique and musicality
Beginner Essentials
This group is for those who have never played a stringed intrument. Each time we gather an instructor will show you how to play your instrument of choice. Then you will work on a group pieces to play in future Open Rehearsal.
Rehearsal times are Mondays at 6:30-7:30 pm at LCCC FA 113.
Returner Ensemble
This group is for those who once played a string instrument, but put it down. Each time we gather an instructor will provide excerises to develop your playing skills. Several ensemble pieces will be worked on together for the Open Rehearsal.
Rehearsal times are Mondays at 7:00-8:00 pm at LCCC FA 113.
